Rose Cologgi

Rose Darlene Cologgi, 81, of Ontario, CA died peacefully Friday August 12, 2016. She was born in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Astrid ( Nelson) and Santo Buttacavola. She is retired from Ontario-Montclair school district where she was a baker. She was an active member of St. George Church for many years and was a Eucharistic minister. Rose married the love of her life, Robert W. Cologgi, on April 18, 1953. She was blessed with 4 children: Mary (Ted) Cologgi-Just, Francine (Tom) Schiro, Frank Cologgi, Jonita (Dan) Terrell; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Thursday August 18, 2016, at 9am at St. George Church in Ontario, CA. Due to Rose's untimely death the family appreciates donations in lieu of flowers or gifts.
